Two distinct processes of galvanized chain link fence

1. Galvanized chain link fence are also called zinc coated chain link fence. This is where fence is dipped in zinc. Zinc is a non-reactive material which means that it does not react to the elements and it can last for a long time before it is finally replaced. In fact, galvanized wire have a shelf life of 10 years plus. 

2. There are two distinct processes that yield a galvanized fence. They are:

a) Galvanized Before Weaving

b) Galvanized After Weaving

 

3. Galvanized Before Weaving. In this type of chain link fence, the different wire are galvanized and weaved together. This type is very popular on account of durability. You can be assured that there will be no open or vulnerable spots on the fence.

4. Galvanized After Weaving. This is where the chain link fence is galvanized after everything is woven together. Choosing this type means compromising on the finishing. Not all the spots can be coated and be protected.
